As you may know, UE Local 170’s biennial state convention will be held virtually on Saturday, September 26. The convention begins at 10 a.m., and all members are invited.
The full instructions to join the meeting and participate online are available in this downloadable file, but here are some highlights:
- Plan to join the meeting on a device with a video camera and microphone. You can use your smartphone, tablet, desktop computer or laptop with a webcam and microphone, and be sure to have a good internet/cellular signal.
- If absolutely necessary, you can participate by phone only, but you will be limited in your participation.
- When you join the meeting, be sure to set your display name. There are instructions for computers and for mobile phones.
- Zoom also has a Group Chat function. You may send a message to “Everyone,” or send private messages to individuals in the meeting.
