Welch Community Hospital, which has a few of our members, is being taken over by WVU Medicine. Governor Jim Justice announced last week that the McDowell County Commission has approved the transfer.
While the move can bring much-needed improvements, employees may no longer be covered in the Public Employees’ Grievance System.
