West Virginia University is announcing today (Friday) staff furloughs regarded as temporary, confirming an option that university officials said they might need to take.
An official announcement should be very early (Friday) afternoon. The furloughs were for almost 900 staff. Several UE Local 170 members are employed at WVU.
