Senate Bill 820, which would allow the DHHR to transfer state hospitals to regional, nonprofit organizations, is on House Health and Human Resources Committee agenda. The committee meets at 2 p.m. Saturday.
The bill has another reference, to the House Finance Committee, but there is plenty of time for it to pass — the session ends March 7.
