Mark your calendar: UE Local 170 will hold its state convention from Friday, October 14 to Sunday, October 16. The convention is held every other year, and will take place at the union hall, 2110 Kanawha Boulevard East in Charleston.
Officers will be elected, and any proposed changes in our constitution will be addressed. We will select issues and goals to address in the next two years, and conduct several training sessions.
This is a great time to meet other union members and discuss the issues in their workplaces. We also expect representatives from UE national leadership.
