State convention October 14-16

UE Local 170 Statewide Convention

Where: Union headquarters, 2110 Kanawha Blvd. East, Charleston (Realtors Building). We are in a red brick building next to a seven-story apartment complex; park in the back using the alley or the driveway from the Boulevard, then use the ramp downstairs.

When: Friday, October 14 through Sunday, October 16.

The union gathers every two years to elect officers, amend the constitution if need be, plot the short- and long-term future and enjoy some fellowship and trade “war stories.” We had to meet virtually two years ago because of COVID, and we are rebounding from the state’s ban on payroll dues deductions.
