There will be a UE Local 170 Steward Council Training Workshop at the Union Hall in Charleston on Saturday, July 24, from 9 a.m. until 3:30 pm. Lunch will be provided.

This workshop will be on Comprehensive Grievance Training, taught by our own Local 170 Chief Steward, International Staff and the WVU Institute for Labor Studies and Research. This workshop is free to all union members. All union members are encouraged to attend.

Shop stewards and union members are needed to lead the fight for employee rights in the work place. This fight is won through solidarity and that can only be accomplished when all employees unite together, share our experiences of the struggle and develop the logical strategies that are necessary to overcome bad management decisions that negatively impact all of our lives.
