With West Virginia workers facing unprecedented attacks on our wages, working conditions and rights, UE Local 170 is calling on our rank-and-file members to attend our ninth annual Presidents' Day Rally at the State Capitol to stand up against these attacks.

"Brothers and sisters, it's time to stand up and make our voices heard in Charleston on Presidents' Day," said Donna Morgan, UE Local 170 president. "This is the one time a year we can come together and stand united to make our legislators and governor aware of our issues and concerns."

UE Local 170 members will meet at the local's union hall at 9 a.m. before heading over to the Capitol. The rally will take place in the Capitol's lower rotunda at 10 a.m. After the rally members are encouraged to meet with their legislators. You can download a flier with info on the rally here.

At 12 p.m., UE Local 170 members will be joining the rally being called for by Senator Jeffrey Kessler to push back against the radical, anti-worker agenda being pursued by the Republican-controlled Legislature.

Please join us on this important day and bring your family, friends, and co-workers. For more information, contact Chris Wolford, UE Local 170 vice president, at 304-629-9248.
